When you think “vintage,” what’s the first thing that comes to mind?

An old record player? An article of clothing? A bottle of wine, stashed away in a dark cellar?

What about a classic Chevrolet?

Last week in Chadron, NE there were vintage Chevrolets aplenty! Chevy lovers gathered from across the nation to join in their love of Chevrolet for the 2019 Vintage Chevrolet Club of America Mile High Region 43rd Middle West Meet. About 40 vehicles took part in the festivities, the oldest, a 1919 Chevy Series 490. I am guessing that car has a few years on your wine bottle.

The premier event of the gathering was a car show, in which several of the vintage vehicles took part. In order to be eligible, cars had to be at least 25 years old and meet the club’s mission of "preserving and restoring Chevys and GMCs in a manner that represents how they were sold when new."

A classic brand featuring some of its finest vintage members.
