One Pedal Driving

One Pedal Driving captures energy by using regenerative braking to slow the vehicle. It is controlled by using only the accelerator pedal to speed up and slow down, instead of the brakes. And it can even bring the Bolt EV to a complete stop.

Sport Mode

Engaging the Sport Mode button provides more responsive acceleration delivering a more exciting driving experience.

One-Pedal Driving

Instead of losing energy when slowing down, this feature helps you transfer energy to the battery. It works like this: When driving in Low mode at any speed, you can slow down – or even come to a complete stop – by simply lifting your foot off the accelerator. This means you may use your brakes less and help increase your range. You should always use your brake pedal if you need to stop immediately.

Know Your Power

Want to know how much energy you’re using? There are screens for that. Valuable, real-time information such as your battery levels, range estimation, charge settings and climate controls is available on the standard 10.2-inch diagonal color touch-screen and 8-inch diagonal driver cluster.

2022 Bolt EV comes standard with Chevy Safety Assist – a suite of our advanced safety features designed to let you go confidently ahead.

Front Pedestrian Braking

• At speeds below 50 mph during the daytime, this feature can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision with a pedestrian it detects directly ahead of you. It has limited nighttime and low visibility performance.

Forward Collision Alert & Automatic Emergency Braking

• Forward Collision Alert can warn you when it detects a potential front-end collision with a vehicle you’re following so you can take quick action. Automatic Emergency Braking uses camera technology is used to automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking at speeds below 50 mph.

Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning

• Uses a brief, gentle steering wheel turn to alert you when you may be unintentionally drifting out of detected lane lines, so you can steer to stay safely in your lane.

Following Distance Indicator

• Displays the following gap time in seconds between your vehicle and a detected vehicle you’re following.

IntelliBeam® auto high beams

• Can automatically turn on the vehicle’s high beam headlamps on and off according to surrounding traffic conditions.
