The All-New Silverado HD comes ready to work. With two heavy-duty powertrain options, new technologies for confident towing, and a larger, stronger and more functional Durabed, it was built to take on the hardest jobs you can throw at it.
Five Trim Choices
Silverado HD has been redesigned with a longer wheelbase, a higher cab and a larger cargo bed. It’s a powerful design that sets it apart from Silverado LD — and any other truck out there. For even more distinction, you can choose from five unique trims — High Country, LTZ, LT, Custom and Work Truck.
A Comfortable Cabin
The redesigned cabin is bigger in almost every way, offering more shoulder room, rear passenger space and best-in-class front head and legroom.
To help you keep your eyes on the road, an available multicolor 15-inch diagonal Head-up Display can project information like your vehicle’s speed, navigation and available active safety alerts onto your windshield.
Two available segment-first rear-seatback storage compartments, rear under seat storage and a spacious compartment in the available center console offer the room you need to store your gear while you’re on the go.
The Drive To Get The Job Done
The Silverado HD offers its most robust powertrain lineup ever. Choose the all-new 6.6L V8 gas engine or the available legendary Duramax® 6.6L Turbo-Diesel V8 paired with an all-new Allison® 10-speed automatic transmission.
6.6L V8 Gas Engine

Duramax® 6.6L Turbo-Diesel V8

High Strength Steel Where It Counts
This heavy-duty truck was designed to deliver strength in critical areas and still maximize efficiency. From the frame to the cargo bed floor, Silverado HD is engineered with seven different types of steel, with each gauge chosen to be stronger, lighter and more durable than before.
Towing Confidence For The Long Haul
Silverado HD lets you tow the heavy loads with ease. The 2500 HD has an impressive maximum towing capability of up to 18,510 lbs. When it comes to 3500 HD gooseneck towing, the capability increases by up to 52% to 35,500 lbs.

Silverado HD offers more camera views than any other competitor — all working to improve your towing job from start to finish. They can make it easier to get hitched up, provide confidence while you’re on the road, and even help you maneuver into tight spots when you’re ready to park.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL - ADVANCED
This available feature enhances regular cruise control. The cruise control speed is automatically adapted in order to maintain a driver-selected following gap between your vehicle and vehicles detected ahead while the driver steers, reducing the need for the driver to frequently brake and accelerate.
LANE KEEP ASSIST WITH LANE DEPARTURE WARNING
This available feature can provide gentle steering wheel turns (and Lane Departure Warning alerts if necessary) to help drivers potentially avoid crashes due to unintentionally drifting out of their lane when they are not actively steering and their turn signal is not activated.
REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT
When in Reverse, available Rear Cross Traffic Alert can provide visual and audible alerts to help the driver potentially avoid crashing into approaching detected left or right cross traffic.
FORWARD COLLISION ALERT
The available Forward Collision Alert system can alert you to detected slowing vehicles in your path. It also warns you when following a detected vehicle much too closely.
FORWARD AUTOMATIC BRAKING
If the available Forward Automatic Braking system detects that a front-end collision situation is imminent while following a detected vehicle, the system can automatically apply the brakes to help reduce the collision's severity or even help potentially avoid the collision at very low speeds.
Safety or driver assistance features are no substitute for the driver's responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. The driver should remain attentive to traffic, surroundings and road conditions at all times. Visibility, weather and road conditions may affect feature performance. Read the vehicle Owner’s Manual for more important feature limitations and information.
